WOW What an event! This years hunt and banquet went off with great success! Tune in often and mark your calendar to participate next year! We have had so much positive response that planning will begin for next year very soon. Our goal is to top this years event and make the 2009 event the biggest and best yet!
We had a full field of 60 hunters and guides to take them out! Keep us on the calendar for next year and sign up early!

The new "Tycon Excavating" Youth Leadership Program "Turkey"
This year's Annual TN. Governor's One-Shot Turkey Hunt benefits local high school clay-target trap teams, and helps to establish a public shooting range planned for Southern Middle Tennessee. Hunter's and guides will arrive for Friday's activities leading into Saturday's competition hunt! Whether you are an avid hunter or new to the sport you'll enjoy pairing up with a knowledgeable guide and competing against your fellow hunter's for what's sure to be a great experience. Saturday's Annual Gobbler's Gala Festival on the Square will also be host to the Official T.W.R.F check in station for the hunt and throughout the day there will be food, crafts, and activities for everyone to enjoy! Saturday evening, both events come together for the TN. Governor's One-Shot Banquet and live auction. The banquet includes an evening of live entertainment and dining followed by a "live auction" There you'll have the chance to bid on many exciting items that also will benefit a good cause. So whether you are interested in the outdoors or want to spend an evening meeting new people, industry leaders, or maybe a celebrity or two we invite everyone to attend!
